We’ve reimagined some of our most iconic classics with hand-selected new materials. Featuring 100% organic cotton canvas, suede, and split leather uppers with a solvent-free, DMF-free PU coating, the Mystical Embroidery Sk8-Hi Tapered VR3 features a bio-based VR3Cush™ foam sockliner for enhanced comfort and a new VR3Waffle™ outsole, which uses responsibly sourced natural rubber and maintains the grip and durability Vans has known since 1966.

Our team has set ambitious sustainability goals. All our efforts, big and small, add up to the overall package to create positive change. To be eligible to carry the VR3 Checkerboard Globe logo, at least 30% of the product must be made from recycled, renewable or regenerative materials.

ARTICLE FEATURES

• UPPER MATERIAL: 100% organic cotton canvas, suede and split leather with solvent-free and DMF-free polyurethane coating with LWG Gold rating.

• INSOLE: The new VR3Cush™ insole is made with at least 25% bio-based EVA foam partially derived from plants, according to standard test method ASTM D6866-16.

• OUTSOLE: The VR3Waffle outsole is made from a proprietary compound containing at least 25% responsibly sourced natural rubber, sourced using proven sustainable practices in an effort to reduce our impact on the planet. This natural rubber compound is specifically designed to maintain the grip and durability Vans has been known for since 1966.
